Last December 2009, I discussed the new "Extreme" version of the original Coincident Pure Reference (PR), which consists of two cabinets (monitor and subwoofer), instead of one. Within this relatively short post, I also mentioned that one of the advantages of having separate cabinets was the ability to "double up" the speakers (immediately or sometime in the future). Well, I now have such a system in my home, and with enough listening hours and break-in to make a report I am confident in.
